I began my career building interface designs and creating content at an internet portal, then took a webmaster position at a media corporation where I maintained websites for five Atlanta radio stations. During my lengthy freelance tenure, I worked on a spectrum of projects for all kinds of clients, including lots of websites and brands built from scratch.

I appreciate the exploratory process that leads to making something more helpful for a user, but even more, I enjoy getting into what might delight the user, trying to anticipate needs and solve for problems before they can occur. I believe design should be useful, and my mission is to “make it beautiful, and make it work beautifully.”

Seeing how we have evolved in the face of the internet drives my desire to incorporate the user into every part of my work. I aim to create universal journeys that test the boundaries of how we use technology, and that push perceptions about how intuitive and personal tech experiences can be.
